The document uses graphs to demonstrate research results about bullying in Basque Country schools. The date comes from a survey conducted with students from Primary Education (EP) during February-March 2005.
The research shows witness rates (frequency of incidents that happen to others), victim rates (frequency of incidents that happen to students) and the perpetrator rates (frequency of incidents in which students take part). To develop this study, six types of behavior were identified: kicking, threatening to beat up, forcing student to give them money, trying to hurt others, trying to ruin something personal, trying to hit.
According to the conclusions, the bullying rate in the Primary schools of the Basque Country is 5.8%. However, students in their 6th year of Primary Education suffer more harassment than in 5th year and the rate goes down starting in 6th.
